There was plenty of pink, orange and joy at Ballito Junction on Saturday, 22 August. Runners and walkers of all ages came together for the Run Ballito Junction 5km fun run and walk. Hello Poppy was delighted to be the beneficiary of the annual event.
As part of the event, Hello Poppy made up a team of elders from the Dolphin Striders, who joined runners and walkers on the route. Participants were treated to great goodie bags, cheers, smiles, medals and a wonderful line up of fun prizes.
It was a simple but powerful reminder that healthy communities are built when generations connect, move, laugh, and encourage one another.
