Hello Poppy is a South African non-profit dedicated to ensuring that every elder feels seen, valued, and connected. As a senior advocacy organisation, we bring warmth, joy, and meaningful human connection into the lives of older adults across KwaZulu-Natal and beyond.
“Hello”: the most powerful beginning to human connection.
“Poppy”: a symbol of remembrance, resilience, and beauty that grows richer with time.
Hello Poppy is dedicated to supporting the emotional and mental well-being of vulnerable and deserving elders. Through facilitation, campaigns, activations, collaborations, and partnerships, we create meaningful moments of connection, conversation, compassion, dignity, and joy for older adults.
Hello Poppy was founded by Sean and Jessica Naylor, and is led by Jane Linley-Thomas and Dr. Paul Bushell.
Broadcaster, storyteller, and connector. Jane brings the light, the laughter, and 20 years of trusted KwaZulu-Natal community relationships.
Psychologist, author, and speaker. Paul brings the emotional intelligence, reflective practice, and clinical grounding that ensures our work genuinely helps.
The structure that connects ideas, people, and purpose. Sean and Jessica ensure Hello Poppy’s vision does not stay on paper but becomes meaningful, measurable action.
Joy has no age limit. We celebrate life, laughter, and shared moments at every stage.
Every elder carries a lifetime of experience. We honour that journey with dignity and care.
Through conversation and companionship, we bring people together across generations.
Everyone deserves to feel included, welcomed, and part of something meaningful.
